La Marina is located on the Costa Blanca coast about 20 minutes away from Alicante airport. At the center of the urbanization are all major shops such as supermarket, bakery, fruit and vegetable shop, housewares and hardware store, hairdresser, bank, pharmacy, doctor, small clinic, a dentist, as well as various restaurants. For the sporty holidaymakers two public swimming pools, tennis courts and mini golf are offered.
The "Blue Flag La Marina beach" is a wonderful sandy beach, which extends north to Santa Pola, in the south to Guardamar del Segura.
Dunes, salt lakes and pine forests are interspersed along the coast. Twice a week you can at the local market, always Thursdays and Sundays, buy Spanish delicacies. Also recommended is the market of Santa Pola. The urbanization of La Marina is a district of San Fulgencio.
